Last time I tried to adopt from the CHS it was a nightmare. Rob Carmichael was re-homing a croc monitor. I asked for it, and they said I could have it. Turns out they had already gave it to the Bavershas (they get all the cool stuff), and it was sent to a zoo. The zoo found it to be a male and it was sent back and somehow I could not find out what happen to it after that.
So let me say first nothing is concrete yet, but I may have a 6' 6" x 3' x4'6"T cage looking to be filled.
I am looking for a female varanus albigularis or perhaps another 3-5 foot varanid.
Here is the cage with our retic in it.

Thanks for the advice and comment on my retic. Those two are impossible to get a hold of. I see them at the NARBC show and at the CHS show, but that is about all the contact I have with either of them. Rob and Jason were supposed to talk to them for me, and give them my e-mail and contact info, but I have yet to hear anything about that. They too probably could not reach the Bavershas and forgot to follow up. If you have any advice on how to get a hold of them I could really use it. _________________ when I was little I dreamed of giant snakes and dragons.... now I live with them.

Bob has been out of town a lot so your best bet is to sit tight and hopefully get a hold of him at fest. _________________ Rich Crowley
