| ReptileFest will be held Saturday and Sunday, April
12-13, 2008, at the
University of Illinois at Chicago, Physical Education Building, 901 W.
Roosevelt Road (between Halsted and Morgan), Chicago, Illinois. The exhibit
will be open to the public from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday and
Sunday. The hall will be open for setup on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 5:00
P.M., and on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 6:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Exhibitors are asked
to leave their displays in place until closing time on Sunday. Animals may
be taken home overnight, but must be in place by opening time on Sunday;
however, animals need not be taken home Saturday night, as overnight security
will be provided at the site by the Society.
Since there are many ReptileFest decorations that
will need to be put up in addition to individual displays, please allow a
minimum of two hours for set-up. In other words, if you're going to
arrive Friday at 9 pm, plan to stay until at least 11 pm. (And if you're
waiting until Saturday morning, plan to arrive at UIC no later than 7:30
am.) If you can bring along a friend or two to help, that will make
things go faster for everyone.
