Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians.
The Chicago Herpetological Society is a group of reptile and amphibian enthusiasts. Its goals are education, conservation and the advancement of herpetology. Members have unique opportunities to further their knowledge of and participation in all aspects of herpetology.

The Chicago Herpetological Society is a nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the state of Illinois.
